Friend of Eternity

Friends here and friends there
Forever and ever.
Friends come and go
And friends leave and stay.

To the ones with loneliness in the halls of their hearts
A message greater than any political speech will rock the nation.
All hands and knees shall hear the praise of praises
And to the nation, praises will light up the world of the nation.

To the ones with hopelessness and to the ones who sink in the sand
Will hear the hope and the love of all nations.
The message to the nation that is in dire need of hearing hope
Will hear even my praise soar over the mountains to the oceans.

No matter who you are
No matter where you have been
No matter what you look like
There is a love greater than any love and brings nations to their knees.

A love that makes beating hears roar like lions
And a love that calls out the kings of all nations.
A love that is greater than any love
And will sing through the ages till the day comes.

Sinners of all nations; your hearts bow before the one who did it all
Came from His throne of eternity to our world.
He lived like us, He died for us, and in the end He remains eternal
He did it all and even in chaos, He holds out His hand to call us friend.

His name is Jesus
He is the image of the same god that knew you before you were born.
His name is Jesus
And while He reigns on the throne, He knows about you and still calls sinners friends.

Jesus, the King of Kings
The sound of His name trembles all including the knees of demons
He is the very image of eternity and the light of the world
And yet He bared it all to call sinners His friends.

He is everything that will not betray you.
He is the song that will be sung even in trials.
He is the warmth of a cold heart.
He is the breath that brings the death to life.

To all the nations shall even hear my praise
For I too suffered with friends that come and go, and friends that do nothing but hurt.
You have a friend who loves you so much
He suffered pain for even me, and yet He calls me friend.

He was my friend even when my own kingdom crumbled
And He loves me to time that bows to His knees.
All the nations, Jesus is a friend of all eternity
He knows everything, and loves you with a love that never ends.

Friends come and go, and friends even hurt
But Jesus is not that friend; He stays and even dances in the heart.
He can bring dead gardens to life and keep you warm
And He will never leave, even when the nations cries in pain.

Praise to the Lord
A friend of eternity and the only perfect friend.
No matter who you are and what you've done
He sings the names written on His own hand; He sings even my name.
